- Set TSC 243 as default printer in start > printers and faxes.
- Check printer light whether it display error. If error check the print head of the label printer.

CANNOT START PHARMIS:

Cannot start pharmis (Message - Server does not exist.) |
| |
|
Please check network connection or turn off firewall to resolve the problem. |
| |
|
- Make sure the server computer is turned on and check for the network connection.
- Make sure the network hub is on.
- Check the wire connection behind the computer, try to reconnect it properly and make sure the connection icon shown in the task bar shows the network connection connected.
- If the network connection is running under limited connection, please change the ip address according to the ip on the server computer.
- For example if the server computer ip address is 192.168.1.5, Please set the ip address for the computer which running under limited connection to 192.168.1.20.
- The subnet mask, default gateway, preferred DNS server and Alternate DNS server is same with the server.
- Turn off windows firewall and any anti virus firewall.
- Try to open the pharmis on the server. If the pharmis cannot start on the server computer please go for the step d.
- If pharmis can open on the server please go for step e.
- Make sure the MSSQLServer in the system taskbar is running and started.
- If it doesn't start try to start it manually.
- If it still cannot be start please contact the system support.
- Try to open pharmis in all terminals.
- If only one computer cannot open pharmis please restart the particular computer or check for the network connection and ip address.

- Check whether receipt printer works. If receipt printer doesn't work properly cash drawer will not open.
- Make sure the cash drawer not locked by key.

Retype UserID and Password. Password is case sensitive, please check for the "Caps Lock" button. |

(Please check whether System Manager is running properly in the server computer.) |

- Make sure the server computer is turned on and check for the network connection.
- Make sure the system manager is running.
- Check for the system manager ip. If the system manager ip is running under 127.0.0.1.
- Please close system manager and open again in start > all program > startup > system manager.

- The userID is logged in in another computer. One userID only valid for a single login.
- Please logout before user can login with the userID.

Try to login again. This might due to the network connection doesn't stable. |

RECEIPT PRINTER:

- Turn on the receipt printer.
- Check for the paper.
- Check the cable for the receipt printer and computer.
- Please do not change the cable of receipt printer to another usb port, If you need to remove, please record down how the cable connect.
- If the cable for the receipt printer been removed, please try to remove the cable and try to connect to another usb port until the printer can print.
